Our Meetings for
We are a morning club that
meets in Niwot at the Left Hand Grange on 2nd Avenue.
Here is our 2016-2017 meeting plan. This is a newly
revised general scheme, so please note the general
versus special meetings. Check our calendar for meetings
and scheduled speakers.
Day(s): 2nd and 4th Thursday--Regular meeting
with speaker. This is the best meeting to bring or
encourage guest attendance.
Time: 7:30 am
to 8:30 am (Greeting and getting acquainted
starts at 7:15)
The Left Hand
Grange is at 195 2nd Avenue, Niwot, CO,
Committee Meetings Day: 1st Thursday of the month
Volunteering: 3rd Thursday of the month (For
2016-2017 we are volunteering at the OUR Center in
Longmont, serving breakfast and helping out.) (No
morning meeting at the Grange.)
Meetings: Evening social gathering at selected sites

A Club Assembly is an occasional regular
meeting where no speaker is planned so that the club
membership can go over administrative topics and project
support discussions in more detail and hold December
Special Occasion 'Dark Days'
In some circumstances, such as holidays,
or in order to support other special events, the club will not
meet on a Thursday as usual. This is called "going dark"
for the day. Please check our schedule for the scheduled 'dark days'.
Meetings of the club's Board of Directors are held on the
first Thursday the month.
Recognition Awards and Thank You for Programs
To recognize and thank our meeting
program speakers, we give all our speakers a Certificate
of Appreciation and make a donation in recognition of
their efforts to the Rotary Club of Niwot's Scholarship
Fund. This started with our first speaker in the
program, Larry Baldwin on April 2, 2009. To view a copy
