District Conference Coming!

A reminder to attend--if at all possible, the District Celebration on Saturday April 27th at the Arvada Center.  As Scott mentioned this morning, the celebration is an excellent way to recharge sagging Rotary batteries, get to meet other Rotarians, see what clubs and the district are doing locally and world wide, and to just enjoy some great company and awesome speakers.  The cost is $125 for the day, including meals; you can also elect to attend only a half day--either morning or afternoon--for $75.  there will also be a social gathering the evening before at the Center--pure fun and camaraderie.  Partners/spouses are also welcome to attend.  Please see the District's website (rotary5450.org) for further details and to register.

Wine about Winter in Niwot

It’s that time of year to get ready for LET’S WINE ABOUT WINTER IN NIWOT 2019

Our club is going to participate in the 5th annual Let’s Wine About Winter in Niwot 2019!     February 23rd 1-5 pm.  We have arranged to have a table where we can let visitors to the event know about Rotary, our club, and the many ways we serve our community.  We'll have a sign up sheet at our club meeting this Thursday for spending time at the table.   Please sign up for a portion of the event.

This is also a great opportunity to sell tickets for our Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate Tasting event.  We'll have paper tickets and electronic sales available as well as promotional material to hand out.  Come help promote our club's major fundraiser.

(Correction:) Tickets are required only if you plan to sample wine at other businesses.  A limited number of tickets will be sold for $25.  Reserve your ticket today, tickets can be bought here.  Tickets are limited so don't wait.  Ticket includes a mug and a $10 coupon redeemable at participating stores/businesses valid from valid from February 23rd through March 16, 2019.

Wine, Cheese, & Chocolate Update

We now have printed material you can use to tell others about our major fundraising event of the year!  See Chris, Ron, or Doug for fliers, cards, and instructions on how to sell tickets online.

We need volunteers to begin gathering donated gift cards.  Visit those stores you normally frequent and tell them about our event.  Ask for donated gift cards and coupons.  These can bring in extra cash in our live auction!  Contact Chris if you're able to help.

Our goals for the event are very attainable if we all pitch in!

Longmont Chamber of Commerce Events

Don't forget to attend some of the many events hosted by the Chamber.  This is a great opportunity to meet others who are community minded and potential club members.  Click here to see their calendar.
