Dr. Stacy Goresko Book Release
The Longmont Chamber of Commerce had a Ribbon Cutting for Stacy's Book Launch at Niwot Market this past Tuesday October 16th.  As described in the Prologue of her book:  The Social Diet: The 7 Essential Ingredients for Raising Socially Connected, Well-Balanced and Caring Kids (Especially Those with Social Learning Challenges), "The intention of this book is to teach parents, caregivers, or anyone who loves a child how to connect with him or her on a deep level."  She adds, "I do not want to waste your time or repeat what you can easily find elsewhere . . . I want to give you the kind of information that isn't out there.  I want to give you the information that people are not talking about but perhaps should."

Please let others know of the book and that they can get a copy on Amazon.  Congratulations, Stacy!
Dictionary Project
We are scheduled to meet at the Niwot Elementary School after our Rotary meeting on Thursday the 18th. I have cleared it with Nancy Pitz, the principal, and we will be visiting both 3rd grade classes.

I have printed the dedication labels and inserted a personalized version in each dictionary.

I will be at the meeting, and bring the boxes with Dictionaries, all marked, for the two 3rd grade classes.  Please help distribute the dictionaries after our Thursday meeting.

Thank you all for your help in this.

Rotarily,
- Jo

He is a member of his church’s youth group, and has worked at CATS Gymnastics in different capacities since 2015.

District WASH Symposium a Success
Thank you so much for your attendance at the Rotary District 5450 WASH Symposium last Saturday. We hope that you found the event informative, enriching and inspiring. We were thrilled to see more than 130 people in attendance (40+ were university students). It was exciting for us to see the enthusiasm and passion for the important issue of clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene in health facilities around the world.
