As many of you know, I am also our District Literacy Chairperson, and I want to invite you and/or a club representative to attend this year's District Literacy Conference on March 30 at DU (see attached flier for details; you can register on the district website). There are outstanding speakers who will expose you to different areas of literacy in very engaging 20-minute presentations. These speakers are likely to inspire your club to take a new direction in literacy and education, one of the 6 areas of focus in Rotary, or connect you with a great speaker for your future club meetings!

We have planned for at least one representative from your club at this conference. The facilities we use are top-notch, and the food we serve is excellent. For those very far away or a small club, perhaps your Area can send one or two representatives. There will be time available to network with other clubs on your literacy projects as well.

Improved literacy and education changes lives in so many ways here and around the world!  Use this conference to discover new and interesting approaches to literacy to make this difference in the world.

Thanks, in advance, for your support of this District initiative.

Yours in Rotary,
Karen Loeb
